Data we process
RiftLens displays public data from the official Riot Games API: Riot ID (Name#TAG), encrypted account id (puuid), ranked rank and match history, profile icon, summoner level. We do not collect private data (email, password) other than Riot sign-in.
Riot Sign-On (RSO)
If you sign in with your Riot account, we store your puuid and Riot ID to link your profile and refresh it automatically. You can request deletion of this data at any time.
Purpose
This data is used solely to display profiles, the leaderboard, coaching and live games, and to improve the service. We never sell data and show no ads.
Hosting and retention
Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) and cached on Upstash (Redis). Match data (immutable) is kept for history; caches expire automatically.
Other players' data
RiftLens displays and caches other players' public data (leaderboard, opponents, allies) from the Riot API, for analytics and self-improvement. No shaming content is shown. A player may request removal of their public data by contacting us.
Retention
Match data (immutable) is kept for history. Redis caches expire automatically. A linked Riot account's profile is deleted on request, and linked accounts left inactive for a long time may be purged.
Hosting
Data is hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Upstash (Redis), in the European Union region. No ads and no third-party trackers are used.
Local storage
Your browser keeps your recent searches locally (localStorage) to suggest them again. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by clearing the site's storage.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can access, rectify or delete your data. If you signed in with Riot, account deletion (profile + linked data) is available from your account or via the dedicated endpoint; otherwise, contact us. Public Riot data remains subject to Riot Games' terms.
